SIF/XML Process
Office Concepts utilizes SIF/XML integration whenever possible
to avoid costly manual entry errors. SIF/XML files are automatically
imported into our business system from various sources (CAP,
GIZA, 2020 Office Sales, various
procurement systems - Ariba, Commerce
1,etc.).
Currently we support up to 30 manufacturer's electronic catalogs
within our business system. This allows us to verify the accuracy
of an electronic import (SIF or XML) as well as the ability to
select product from an electronic database vs. a free form entry.
Double Check
Office Concepts has developed an in-depth double check process.
This process includes linking the drawing, SIF and business quote
together to achieve a complete analysis of the final solution.
Since implementing this process, Office Concepts has significantly
improved its order accuracy.
Auto Price
Partnering closely with Steelcase, Office Concepts has begun
to leverage web services that support price validation prior to
quote approval. This allows us to validate your contract prices
(tiers, specials, etc.) against a pricing engine that contains
the latest rules and pricing structures. Because we are leveraging
the internet, these requests can be accomplished almost instantaneously.
Hedberg Data Business System
Office Concepts utilizes a system built exclusively for Steelcase
Dealers. This full featured system was created to support all
aspects of our business. Hedberg Data Systems specializes in processing
a specification from quote through final delivery document.
EDI transactions are supported between Office Concepts and its
vendors. Custom E-documents are available
to support transactions between our customers and Office Concepts.
